What are Pilates equipment classes?
Equipment classes are one-on-one or semi-private (2-3 people) classes with an instructor. The pieces of equipment used are the Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, EXO-Chair and Ladder Barrel. All of our equipment was built by Balanced Body. With the exception of the Ladder Barrel, the machines utilize springs that create tension against your body weight. The resistance provides additional challenge as well as stability and muscular feedback.
Is Pilates for me?
Pilates is an ideal exercise program for virtually everyone — no matter what your body type or physical limitations. Instructors at Club Pilates Wellness Center are extremely well versed in anatomy as well as the Pilates Repertoire, and make modifications where necessary. Workouts are safe and challenging for people of all levels of physical fitness. You’ll find that after just a few classes you’ll become aware of your improved posture, grace and overall quality of movement. Equally as important, you’ll simply feel stronger and leaner.

It provides guidance regarding food and lifestyle, so that healthy people can stay healthy and people with health challenges can improve their health. It uses Vedic knowledge to reestablish the balance between body and mind. Each individual has a Dosha. Once you establish your Dosha, you can then begin to cleanse & balance your body and feed your body with a diet that supports your specific Dosha.
